Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling device enabling a smooth loading/unloading of a transport object, and on whose cargo receiver the transport object can be kept loaded stably.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a cargo handling device 1 including: a loading platform 10 for loading a transport object; a lifting mechanism 20 for ascending/descending the loading platform 10; and a truck frame 40 having wheels for traveling and supporting the lifting mechanism. The loading platform 10 is ascended/descended by the lifting mechanism between a descended mode where the transport object is loaded/unloaded and an ascended mode where the loading platform is ascended for a prescribed height from a ground contact surface on which the wheels are contacting. The loading platform has a cargo receiver 15 for loading the transport object, and on the upper surface of the cargo receiver 15, a concavity is formed where a middle part in a forward-backward direction is recessed downward relative to the front part and the rear part. A front part 16 of the cargo receiver 15 is formed to become, in the descended mode, as high as or lower than the upper surface of a pallet on which the transport object is loaded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
