To provide a material management device for managing materials by object units according to the utilization content of materials.

This material management device is provided with a storage means (120) for storing materials including a plurality of objects and the attributes of the objects; an input means (110) for inputting requirements for preparing new materials; a decision means (140) for deciding whether or not the attributes satisfying the input requirements are stored in the storage means; a display means (130) for displaying a plurality of objects relating to the attributes satisfying the requirements; a selection means (160) for selecting a portion or whole part of the plurality of displayed objects; and a preparation means (170) for preparing new materials by compounding the selected objects.
