Abstract:
To provide a material for water area, capable of preventing fine particles from floating on a water surface without sinking, and capable of preventing the fine particles from floating from under the water surface, while eliminating the use of a large amount of a flocculating material and binding material; and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A water content in a material is in a range of 2 mass% or more and 20 mass% or less. Moreover, a material for water area mainly comprises a steel slag and further comprises 60 mass% or less of a raw material containing at least one of: a compound containing CaO and SiO; and a hydrate of the compound containing the CaO and the SiO.SELECTED DRAWING: None
