Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption layer construction method which is suitable to treatment of an object that is to be treated, is generated in large quantities, and contains heavy metals and which can allow a treatment cost of the object to be treated to be made lower.SOLUTION: The adsorption layer construction method comprises the steps of: preparing a base material for heavy metal adsorption layers, whose base material comprises the shale having 70-90 mass% of SiOcontent and 5-15 mass% of AlOcontent; preparing a material for heavy metal adsorption layers, in which material contains a heavy metal adsorbent of 10-200 kg per 1 mof the base material for heavy metal adsorption layers; layering the base material for heavy metal adsorption layers or the material for heavy metal adsorption layers to form a heavy metal adsorption layer; and placing the object, which is to be treated and contains heavy metals, on the formed heavy metal adsorption layer.
