Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the operability and to shorten the coating time of a coating machine, by conducting coating operations of washing, coating, drying, and baking during the movement of a long filament material to be coated in a longitudianal direction and then by accomplishing a double coating by reversing the moving direction of the material to be coated by means of rotating a turntable by 180 degree.
CONSTITUTION: A coater 3, a dryer 4, and a baking oven 5 are placed on a turntable 6, and a washer 2 and a cooler 7 are disposed on the side of the turntable 6, respectively. Using the coating machine, coating operations of washing, coating, drying, and baking are conducted during the movement of a long filament material to be coated in a longitudinal direction, and then a over coating is accomplished by reversing the moving direction of the material to be coated by means of rotating the turntable 6 by 180 degree. In this way, the double coating of the long filament material can be performed without an operational interruption for turning over the material to be coated after the primary coating is finished. Thus, the operability is improved and the coating time is shortened, affording a good coating quality.
