Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain matte coated paper for printing capable of being difficultly stained by an ink without reducing an adhered amount of the ink.
SOLUTION: In this matte coated paper in which a coated layer consisting of a pigment and an adhesive as main components is made on a base paper, the coated layer contains 0.2-5wt.% of polytetrafluoroethylene resin particles based on the total solid of the pigment and 3-30wt.% of the adhesive based on the pigment in a solid base. As the polytetrafluoroethylene resin particles, those having 5-30μm average particle size and twice or more as much as the average particle size of the pigment are used.
