Abstract:

PURPOSE: To upgrade the mechanical pass-through properties and the antistatic properties and control the generation of surges, folds or the like and further, improve the shrink properties by adding specific components, limiting the longitudinal and the transverse shrinkage factor of a multilayer film at a specific temperature within a specified range and specifying a heat sealing temperature and making the film matte.

CONSTITUTION: The specific components I are α-olefins with 5-10 carbon atoms or the like such as ethylene or propylene. A mixture of a copolymer and a terpolymer of the described components or a copolymer of one kind or more of the components or a blend of two kinds or more of copolymers are used. The specific components II are HDPE or a blend of two kinds of components A, B and the component A is substantially HDPE and the component B is substantially ethylene or the like. This multilayer polypropylene film contains the components I, II and has a longitudinal shrinkage factor of >8%/≤10% and a transverse shrinkage factor of >10%/≤10% both at 120°C. In addition, the lowest heat sealing temperature for the outside of the film is 124°C or less and the film is matte-treated.
