Abstract:
To provide a matted coated paper having a low density, flexibility and opacity suitable for practical use, and also having comparatively good ink-attaching properties and high printing glossiness, especially excellent blister resistance at offset printing and excellent printability without causing delamination.
This matted coated paper for printing is obtained by forming a coated layer containing a pigment and an adhesive on a base paper. The base paper contains 13-25 wt.% internally added filler based on the weight of the base paper, and an organic compound having activities for inhibiting the interfiber bond of a pulp. The coated amount of the coated layer is 4-10 g/m2 per one surface, and the delamination resistance is ≥600 kPa.
