Title:
MAXIMUM FUEL INJECTION QUANTITY CONTROL DEVICE FOR DIESEL ENGINE WITH SUPERCHARGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06173747
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide proper maximum fuel injection quantity with fluctuation by detecting the feedback control of control negative pressure and the judgment of a supercharger operating state by means of a pressure detecting means.

CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection pump 2 is provided with a boost controller 22 for deciding a maximum injection quantity depending upon the relation between the supercharging pressure to be introduced in a supercharging chamber 23 along with the activation of a turbocharger 10 and control negative pressure to be introduced in a negative pressure chamber 24 controlled by a EVRV (electric vacuum regulating valve) 17. A VSV (vacuum switching valve) 29 is provided for selectively detecting control negative pressure and supercharging pressure by means of an intake air pressure sensor 44. In an ECU 47, the opening and closing of the EVRV 17 and the VSV 29 are controlled according to engine running states. In the control area of the boost controller 22 in particular, the ECU (electronic control unit) 47 selectively carries out feedback control of the EVRV 17 based on control negative pressure detected by the intake air pressure sensor 44 and lighting control of a turbo-indicator 33 based on the supercharging pressure detected by the intake air pressure sensor 44 by time sharing.
