Abstract:
To provide Me element substituted organic acid barium titanyl powder and barium titanate powder, in which organic acid barium titanyl and barium titanate have a portion of the Ba site substituted with another element (Me element), the substitution element being homogenously dispersed in the entire organic acid barium titanyl powder and the entire barium titanate powder without segregation, and also to provide a method of industrially and advantageously producing organic acid barium titanyl powder and barium titanate powder.SOLUTION: Provided is Me element substituted organic acid barium titanyl powder in which a portion of the Ba site is substituted with an Me element (Me represents at least one selected from among Ca, S, and Mg), the total molar ratio of Ba and Me elements to Ti ((Ba+Me)/Ti) being 0.980 or more and 0.999 or less, and the molar ratio of Me element to Ba (Me/Ba) being 0.001 or more and 0.250 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
