Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the mean delay time estimate method and device very simply handled with less effect on the service.
CONSTITUTION: In a system 10 attended with queue and congestion such as a highway road, an exchange and a computer, number of times of the arrival of calls is counted at the entrance of the system 10 and number of returned calls is counted at an exit of the system 10 and a mean call unit in the system 10 is estimated to predict that a call is resident in the system 10. Only 6 sets of counters 1-6 are enough for the purpose.
