To provide a meandering correction device of an endless belt capable of correcting the meandering of the endless belt without generating any difference in tension in the width direction of the endless belt without any considerable remodeling even in a belt conveying unit having no meandering correcting function.

The meandering correction device comprises a plurality of rollers including a drive roller 203, an endless belt 201 wound around the plurality of rollers, twisting means 31a, 31b which are provided on both ends of roller shafts of the plurality of rollers, and move at least one of supporting plates 206, 207 in a belt conveying mechanism 2 having supporting plates 206, 207 for integrally supporting the plurality of rollers in a twisting manner with respect to the other supporting plates 207, 206 and apply the twisting force to the entire belt conveying mechanism 2 to move the endless belt 201 in the width direction, a belt end detection means for detecting the position of a belt end in the width direction of the endless belt 201, and a control means for controlling the meandering of the endless belt 201 by operating the twisting means 31a, 31b based on the result of detection of the belt end detection means.
