PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for regulating the movement of heat medium liquid in which the continuous smooth flow of heat medium liquid at stable flow velocity is made throughout the whole course, and besides there is regularity in heat balance and the phenomena can be grasped quantitatively, and also which is convenient to perform analysitical computation.
SOLUTION: This means has a base material 3 of hydrophobic material where heat medium liquid flows down along the surface and a material consisting of hydrophilic material which forms a shelf-form down flow passage to induce the flow of the heat medium liquid, being bonded to the surface of this base material and projecting in ridge form from the surface of the base material. The material has a slant first hydrophilic down flow passage 1 which has a curved turn passage to invert the moving direction of the heat medium liquid downward at the downstream end 1', and a slant second hydrophilic down flow passage 2 which is arranged facing the return passage and has a receiving joint to serve as a curved pan to receive the heat medium liquid having broken away from this turn passage at the upstream end 2', and besides has a curved return passage to invert the shifting direction of the heat medium liquid downward at the downstream end 2" and supplies the heat medium liquid to the upstream side of the first hydrophilic passage via the return passage, and these first and second hydrophilic passages are arranged to overlap each other in vertical direction, with one hand positioned under the other.
