Abstract:
To propose a method capable of quickly measuring a surface shape of a refractory while hot.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for three-dimensionally measuring a surface shape of a refractory lined on an inner surface of a container of molten metal, where the inner surface is substantially axisymmetric and a part or the whole of an upper opening is in a plane orthogonal to a symmetric axis of the inner surface, the refractory surface shape measurement method measures the surface shape of the refractory as three dimensional coordinates by acquiring a symmetric axis of three-dimensional point group data forming the surface shape of the refractory, and using a cylindrical coordinate system, with the depth direction of the container with respect to the acquired symmetric axis defined as a cylindrical axis z2, any normal direction to the cylindrical axis z2 defined as a moving radius r2, and a circumferential direction defined as an argument θ2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
