Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure peroxidase in high sensitivity by capturing a radical produced from a p-substituted phenolic compound by an action of a peroxidase in the presence of hydrogen peroxide with a hydroxylamine compound and measuring electric spin resonance.
SOLUTION: A peroxidase is measured in high sensitivity by capturing a phenoxy radical produced from a p-substituted phenolic compound of the formula (R1 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; R2 is a 1-6C alkyl, carboxyl or a 1-6C alkoxycarbonyl), such as a 4-acetamidephenol derivative, 4-methoxyphenol, 4-ethoxyphenol, 4- iodophenol, 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) propinonic acid or 4-hydroxyphenyl acetic acid by an action of a peroxidase in the presence of hydrogen peroxide with a hydroxylamine compound, generating a stable radical species and measuring its electron spin resonance.
