Title:
MEASURING APPARATUS FOR CAVITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1130518
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the three-dimensional shape of a cavity precisely measurable, by sending out laser light to the wall face of the cavity from the tip of a rod and measuring the three-dimensional shape by using a distance obtained on the basis of the time difference between transmitted light and received light. SOLUTION: A control part 18 controls a laser drive part 14, it sends out laser light to the wall face 10A of a cavity 10B from a laser-light transmitting-receiving part 3, and it receives its reflected light. Thereby, a time-difference output signal 5 is output from the laser-light transmitting-receiving part 3, and a time difference is output as digital data from a signal conversion part 15. A computing and processing part 16 computes and stores a distance up to the wall face 10A from the laser-light transmitting-receiving part 3 on the basis of the time difference. Then, the control part 18 controls a rotation control part 12 and a motor drive part 13, it confirms that measurement in all directions are completed, and it instructs a computing and control part 16 to output data. In accordance with its instruction, the computing and control part 16 computes the three-dimensional shape of the cavity 10B as a whole, or, as required, the inside volume of the cavity 10B so as to be output to a data output part 17 on the basis of a distance up to the wall face 10A in respective directions of rotation in respective depths.
