PURPOSE: To enable measurement of a dielectric loss in a hot-line state of a non-conductor-exposure cable by a method wherein high-tension and low-tension electrode plates are disposed oppositely as a standard capacitor in a case filled up with an insulating gas and a terminal for connection of the high-tension electrode plate with a cable conductor to be measured is provided on the outer wall of the case.
CONSTITUTION: A bushing 22 provided at the end of a cable 1 is fixed inside a case 20 filled up with an insulating gas 21, and a shield-ring-shaped high- tension electrode plate 23 is fixed to the fore end of the bushing, while a low- tension electrode plate 24 is disposed near the surface of a wall of the case 20 oppositely to the above plate. The electrode plate 23 and the electrode plate 24 are connected electrically to the cable 1 and the case 20 respectively. An attachment terminal 25 having a connecting conductor 26 in the other end of the cable 1 is fitted to a terminal in the gas of a gas-insulated breaker case. By this constitution, measurement of voltage can be executed easily even when a high-voltage element is not exposed.
