Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring arm which can suppress the fluctuation of measured values resulting from the different attitudes of the arm.
SOLUTION: Between the arm section 21 and fixed section 23 of a measuring arm 1, a thin plate-like elastic hinge section 24 which is extended in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the arm section 21 and can be bent leftward and rightward is integrally formed with the arm section 21. The arm section 21 is constituted so that the left and right sections of the arm section 21 on both sides of the hinge section 24 may be displaced in a vertical displacing direction H when the hinge section 24 is bent in a horizontal bending direction T by utilizing the plate spring action of the section 24. A contacting section 31 which comes into contact with the measuring part of an object 17 to be measured and a detecting section 35 which is protruded to a detector 33 side and comes into contact with the probe 34 of the detector 33 are installed in the arm section 21 and the hinge section 24 is arranged on a virtual straight line connecting the contacting point ps at which the contacting section 31 comes into contact with the object 17 and the detecting point pk at which the detecting section 35 comes into contact with probe 34.
