1. Sensor (9) for measuring a gripper support pressure in sheet-fed rotary printing machines, the sensor (9) being arranged between a gripper tip (1) and a gripper support (2) of a gripper, characterized in that the sensor (9) comprises only the following three layers, which lie one above the other and are in total approximately 0.5 mm thick : a) a lower resilient carrier layer (6) which changes its electrical resistance with pressure and comprises plastics material having embedded therein electrically conductive parts, b) a conductive layer (4) arranged thereon, c) an insulating layer (3) arranged thereon, in that one of the electrical measuring connections (7) is applied directly to the conductive layer (4) and in that a plurality of sensors (9) is provided for a series of grippers.
