In place of a conventional measuring device for measuring a physical quantity at a measuring point in gas flow, the measuring device of this invention is equipped with a sensor for measuring the physical quantity at a detection site, a primary structure having a flange portion for fixing, a first pole-like structure portion extending from the flange portion and a sensor support portion for supporting the first pole-like structure so that the detection site of the sensor is located at the measuring point, a secondary structure having a secondary pole-like structure portion, and multiple joint members. The first pole-like structure portion and the second pole-like structure portions are overlaid in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axial direction, and joined to each other at multiple places in the longitudinal direction by the joint means.
