To provide a measuring device in which the inside of a measuring main body is partitioned on a tip part of an operating body into upper and lower parts to form a measuring chamber at the upper part of the tip part and an auxiliary space at the lower part of the tip part so that an object to be measured will not fall from the measuring body, by pulling the operating body into the measuring chamber, after the measurement of the object to be measured is conducted.

The measuring device is provided with both the measuring body 2 in which a slit 10 is laterally provided to the rear part of a circumferential wall 8 raised from a bottom wall 6 and the operating body 16 in which the tip part 16a is inserted in the measuring main body via the slit 10. The measuring chamber 20 is formed at the part of the circumferential wall 8 above the tip part 16a of the operating body 16, and the auxiliary space 22 shielded from the inside of the measuring chamber 20 is formed between the tip part 16a of the operating body and a part of the bottom wall opposed to the tip part. The object to be measured, which is filled in the measuring chamber 20, can flow into the auxiliary space 22 by pulling the operating body 16 toward the outside.
