To provide a measuring head of an air micrometer by which measurement is performed without exchanging measuring heads even when dimensions to be measured of a work are different, and insertion of the work is safely and easily performed to the measuring head.
A measuring head of an air micrometer jets the air to a plane to be measured of a work from a jet hole provided to a head body 2 to measure thickness or an outer diameter of the work based on back pressure or differential pressure of the air. To the head body 2, a fixed nozzle part 3 with the jet hole is fixed, and a movable nozzle part 4 with the jet hole is attached so as to face the fixed nozzle part 3 and to be slidable in the approaching and separating directions via a slide mechanism 6. To a base part of the movable nozzle part, a micrometer head 10 is attached so as to finely move the movable nozzle part 4 in the approaching and separating directions to the fixed nozzle part 3 by bringing the moving tip of the micrometer head 10 into contact with the head body 2.
