Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for measuring the residual life of a storage battery for electric motor car in which quantitative and objective residual life measurement with no individual different or mistake can be performed, independently from the perception or experience of a driver, without troublesome daily management or periodic capacity test.
CONSTITUTION: The voltage value in a fixed discharge quantity obtained at the time of traveling a storage battery for electric motor car is determined every travel. In the relational expression to the traveling frequency corresponding to this, the residual life is determined by the difference between an estimated traveling frequency reaching a preset life voltage and the present traveling frequency.
