To provide a method for conveniently and correctly measuring the saturated vapor pressure of a measurement object.
The measurement method of the saturated vapor pressure PTj at the temperature T°C of the measurement object j includes steps 1-4, where step 1: reference materials i and j are introduced into gas chromatographic equipment for obtaining the conversion coefficient f, representing respective relation of weight and peak area from the obtained chromatogram; step 2: the gaseous phase of gas to liquid equilibrium material i is introduced into the chromatographic equipment, and the ratio of the peak area Ai and the saturated pressure Pi of i from the obtained chromatogram is obtained; step 3: the gaseous part of gas-liquid equilibrium material j of the temperature T°C is introduced to the gas chromatographic equipment by the same volume as in step 2, and the peak area ATj is obtained from the obtained chromatogram; and step 4: the PTj is obtained from the conversion coefficient f, the ratio of Ai to Pi, ATj, molecular weight Mwi of i and the molecular weight Mwj of j.
