Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the execution of sensory evaluation and quantitative evaluation of high correlation regarding the quality of the shape of a dot, by computing the quality from the respective totals of the peripheral length and area of each component particle which are determined from an inputted dot image. CONSTITUTION:A mesh-spot image is inputted by a TV camera 2 fitted to a microscope 1 and supplied to an image analyzing circuit 3. From this circuit 3, the dot image from the camera 2 or one obtained therefrom by a prescribed processing is supplied on the basis of an instruction from a controller 4 and displayed in an image monitor 5. Along with this, an instruction inputted from a keyboard or the like, a response from the circuit 3 and the like are displayed in a monitor 6 for operations. In the circuit 3, on the occasion, the peripheral length and area of a particle contained in a fundamental block B of grating in prescribed numbers are measured and totaled respectively. By these computations, an evaluation value of the quality of the shape of a dot is determined.
