Abstract:
To provide a mechanical lock device that can perform locking only by closing an opening/closing body that opens and closes a locking object at the time of locking, without operating an operation knob.SOLUTION: The mechanical lock device is attached to an opening/closing body that opens and closes a locking object, the mechanical lock device including a lock mechanism body, a latch, automatic engagement means, closing operation regulation means, and automatic locking means. The latch is provided so that it is retractable into a latch housing hole of a housing, and is biased by a latch spring toward a protruding direction. The automatic engagement means biases a stopper in a direction to switch from the disengaged position to the engaged position when the stopper is in the disengaged position. The closing operation regulation means regulates a closing operation of an operation knob in response to the switching movement of the stopper from the engaged position to the disengaged position, and releases regulation of the closing operation in response to the retraction of the latch into the latch housing hole when the opening/closing body closes. The automatic locking means locks the lock mechanism body in response to the closing operation regulation means releasing the regulation of a closing operation of the operation knob, thereby causing the lock mechanism body to regulate an opening operation by the operation knob.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
