Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a high-frequency vibration force and low-frequency ununiform force and the vibration transmitted to the ground or supporting bed at the time of blanking.
SOLUTION: This mounting system for a press is provided with an elastomer- isolator 16 operationally coupled with a press bed 12 and an air-mounted isolator 18 operationally coupled with the press bed to support the press against the floor. A monitor mechanism is provided to start the air-mounted isolator based on the given condition of the press, the press bed is supported by the elastomer isolator, before starting the air-mounted isolator, and after the starting, the bed is supported only by the air-mounted isolator.
