Abstract:
To provide a mechanical start auxiliary device which can keep a piping length from an air tank to an air spring constant even in different car types.SOLUTION: A mechanical start auxiliary device, in which rear wheels are set as two shafts and the two shafts are suspended from a frame 5 by a trunnion suspension 16 and are applied to a rear wheel two-shaft vehicle with a front shaft of the two shafts as a driving shaft and a rear shaft as a driven shaft, includes an air spring that swells in a direction of lifting up the rear shaft at light loading including vacancy, thereby transfers a shaft load to the front shaft and is kept at a fixed pressure by a pressure-control valve so as to assist start, curves an intermediate part of a trunnion shaft 25 in the trunnion suspension 16 downward, expands an excess space 26 between the intermediate part and the upper frame 5, and arranges an air tank 24 interposed in an air pipe between the pressure-control valve and the air spring in the excess space 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
