Abstract:
To provide an economical mechanism for cleaning a printer which is capable of prolonging the life by cleaning a printing head without replacing the printing head even when the late riser phenomenon occurs.
A printer has the printing head 1 supported freely movably along a carriage shaft 3, wherein a printing head cleaning tank 10 in which a cleaning liquid for cleaning a printing wire of the printing head 1 is stored is arranged in a movable range of the printing head 1 moved along the carriage shaft 3.
