PURPOSE: To prevent malfunction and to make mechanism compact by transmitting the self-maintaining force when a driving source for conveying the photographic paper stops to a photographic paper winder thereby regulating excessive winding.
CONSTITUTION: A winding shaft of a photographic paper winder 15 is driven via gears 30, 31 to wind successively photographic paper P under conveyance. One- way clutch 22 does not drive a shaft 29 during revolution in an arrow direction and drives backward said shaft during reverse revolution. If the shaft 29 is going to revolve in an arrow direction when a motor 11 and the clutch 22 stop, the clutch 22 transmits the rotating direction in the counter arrow direction and therefore the rotational force is transmitted to the motor 11 and is braked by the self-maintaining force of the motor 11. The winding shaft of the winder 15 is driven via a friction mechanism so as to rotate according to the winding amt. of the paper P and since the overrun that the winding shaft is going to make when the feed for the photographic paper stops is braked by the self-maintaining force of the driving motor itself which is interlocked via the one-way clutch mechanism to said shaft, there is no need for providing a damper between a feed roller 12 and the winder.
