PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a manufacture, to reduce a cost and to enhance an efficiency of a connecting work by engaging to support a joint with a straight tube, providing a collar at the tube, forming a groove on an outer periphery of the collar, and providing an engaging support plate having a V-shaped opening to be engaged with the groove at the support of the joint.
SOLUTION: The engaging mechanism has a joint support, a pipe support in such a manner that the supports are relatively advancing or retractable. An engaging support plate 110 is formed with a V-shaped opening 111, which is superposed with a U-shaped opening 109 of an upper part of a bracket 108 and clamped with a screw 112. When a joint 101 is filled in the opening 111 of the plate 110 and a groove 105 of an outer periphery of a collar 104 is engaged with a site in the opening 111 of the plate 110, the joint 101 is held. Accordingly, a load in the case of engaging an engaging support 103 of the joint 101 with a hard pipe can be supported. Thus since the groove of the collar is engaged to be supported with the opening 111 its operation is facilitated, and this can be applied to a joint of different diameter.
