In this medal feeder 1 which successively feeds a medal or the like arranged in a medal path 6 from a medal ejection part 28, the device is equipped with a feeding component 12 which can move to a feeding position which feeds a medal or the like at an end of a medal group to a medal ejection part and a standby position, feeding component driving means 14 and 14b which perform feeding operation that has the feeding component 12 move from the standby position to the feeding position and feeding release operation that has the feeding material 12 move from the feeding position to the standby position, a medal extrusion part 22 which can move along the medal path, and an extrusion part driving means which transmits a driving power of the feeding release operation to the medal extrusion part and performs straight advance operation. The medal extrusion part extrudes the other end of the medal group accompanying the straight advance movement and has the medal group move in a medal ejection part direction.
