Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media processing device which can discharge recording media to a plurality of discharge parts arranged at one side of the device at respectively appropriate speeds.SOLUTION: A media processing device comprises: a plurality of discharge parts (a first card discharge part 50 and a second card discharge part 60) arranged at one side of a device casing; and a discharge member (card inversion part 30) which discharges cards C into the respective discharge parts. Drive of the discharge member is controlled in the card processing device in which a card conveyance speed when the card C is discharged into the first card discharge part 50 that has a longer distance from the discharge member is higher than that when the card C is discharged into the second card discharge part 60 that has a shorter distance from the discharge member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
