Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable smooth conveyance of a medium in each processing while easily responding to a plurality of different specifications.SOLUTION: A bill deposit/withdrawal machine 10 of an automatic teller machine 1 is configured to form an upper annular conveyance path WCU and a lower annular conveyance path WCL on the upper side and the lower side of a main conveyance path WP passing through a discrimination part 14 respectively. Further, in the bill deposit/withdrawal machine 10, the lower annular conveyance path WCL is connected to a bill storage 22C via a three-way switching part 63, while connected to a bill storage 22D via a three-way switching part 66. Thus, in the bill deposit/withdrawal machine 10, any of deposit processing, storage processing, and withdrawal processing can be performed smoothly, and a bill can be directly moved along a path passing through the discrimination part 14 between the bill storage parts 22 in bill movement processing. As a result, in the bill deposit/withdrawal machine 10, in each processing such as deposit processing, the distance and the number of bill conveyance can be minimized as necessary, and the bill conveyance can be completed efficiently in a short time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
