Abstract:
To provide a medium processing device and a medium transaction device capable of improving readability.SOLUTION: A temporary holding unit includes: a groove where a stopper surface is formed along the direction of the rotation of a drum at a point where a tape 38 is wound around the drum; a regulation lever that moves toward the inside of the drum and comes into contact with a stopper surface to regulate the rotation of the drum in the rewinding direction when the groove is exposed, while the movement toward the inside of the drum is regulated by coming into contact with the tape 38 wound around the peripheral side surface of the drum; an urging member that urges the regulation lever toward the inside of the drum; and a reinforcing portion 60 that is provided so as to cover at least a part of a region of the groove along the rotation direction when the tape 38 is wound around the drum on the side of a tape fixing part 38s of the tape 38 and reinforces the strength of the tape 38 by overlapping with a reinforced portion 61 which is a portion of the tape 38 that is fed out from a reel 40 and directed toward the drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
