Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medical adhesive having suitable internal cohesion, flexibility, good drug-retaining/releasing properties, and suitable adhesion to the skin, excellent in followingness to the skin and low in stimulation by using a specific polyetheresteramide copolymer.
SOLUTION: This adhesive is obtained by using a polyetheresteramide copolymer comprising a polyether, a polyester and a polyamide skeletons of formulas I (A is an aromatic), H (D is a hydrocarbon), III [R is an alkylene, (k) is a number of repeating units regulated so that the number average molecular weight of the polyoxyalkylene structure of (RO)k may be 200-20,000], TV (R' is an alkyl), and V [(1) is a number of repeating units regulated so that the number average molecular weight of the polyoxyethylene structure of (CH2CH2 O)1 may be 200-20,000] and regulated so that the proportion of the total weight of the repeating units corresponding to the formulas III and V may be 20-90 wt.% based on the total weight of the units corresponding to the formulas I to V and the content of the weight of the units corresponding to formula IV may be 70-5 wt.% Percutaneously absorbable adhesive preparation is obtained by allowing the adhesive layer to contain isosorbide nitrate.
