To reduce burden on an operator when a preset function of a medical image diagnostic apparatus is used.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnostic apparatus to be used for a surgery includes a determination part and a control part. The determination part determines a condition of a present treatment manipulation based on status information, and determines at least one proposal preset related to the setting of the medical image diagnostic apparatus based on the determined present treatment manipulation.
