To provide a medical image processing device capable of suppressing deterioration in accuracy of a bone density calculation result.SOLUTION: A medical image processing device 100 includes: an image acquisition unit 1 for acquiring an X-ray image 10 showing a plurality of vertebral bodies 40; a vertebral body region identification unit 20 for identifying a vertebral body region 41, which is a region of the plurality of vertebral bodies 40, from the X-ray image 10; an input reception unit 3 for receiving a selection operation 30 of an operator; an exclusion region determination unit 21 for determining an exclusion region 41a, which is a region excluded from a bone density calculation object, from the vertebral body region 41 for each region on the basis of the selection operation 30 input by the input reception unit 3; and a bone density calculation unit 22 for calculating the bone density using a calculation object region 41b, which is the vertebral body region 41 other than the exclusion region 41a determined by the exclusion region determination unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
