The medical imaging system comprises a medical image generating device to generate medical image data, a medical image output device to transmit the medical image data to an output media, an area information acquiring means (step S2, S3) to acquire information of an imaging area from the medical image data, a comparing images generating means (step S5) to generate a plurality of comparing images of different gradation characteristics from a standard image of the area on which the medical image data is obtained, a determining means (step S6) to determine the gradation characteristic of the medical image data by comparing the comparing images and the medical image data, and a gradating means (step S9) to gradate the medical image data so that it can be suitable for the medical image output device.
