To provide a medical magnifying glass utilizing spectacles, which makes the width between the eyes adjustable and magnifying glass bodies separable from spectacle lenses.
The magnifying glass 1 is formed by fitting eyepiece sides of a pair of the magnifying glass bodies 2 into fixing holes 4 and attachably and detachably fixing the respective bodies 2 to the eyepiece lenses 3 around the fixing holes 4 by fixing mechanisms disposed on the eyepiece side in such a manner that their respective optical axes intersect with each other on the respective foci. The fixing mechanisms comprise outer mounting rings 6 and inner mounting rings 7 which are movably fitted to eyepiece tubes 2a of the bodies 2 and touch the inside and outside surfaces of the eyepiece lenses 3 around the fixing holes 4 and fixing rings 10 which are screwed to the ends of the eyepiece tubes 2a and press the rings 7 to the ring 6 side. The fixing holes 4 are formed long in a horizontal direction in such a manner that the respective eyepiece tubes 2a can be displaced in the horizontal direction along the planes of the eyepiece lenses. The segments forming the fixing holes 4 are formed with recessed guide surfaces 3a facing their foci.
