To provide a medical sheath which can be assembled in a relatively simple process, which can be prevented from being deeply inserted into a blood vessel more than necessarily deeper, and which has no anxiety that the component of the sheath remains in a body even when the sheath body is inserted into the body more than necessarily deeper by mistake.

The medical sheath comprises a tube made of a polyethylene having a length of 10 mm and an insertion hole formed along the axial direction and mounted at the substantially intermediate part of the sheath body made of a fluororesin with a length of 41 cm, and a heat shrinkable tube having a length of 22 cm and covering the sheath at the rear end side of the sheath body so as to cover the rear end side of the tube made of the polyethylene.
