Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical compsn. which consists of calcium channel blocker and antioxidant and which can be used for treatment for ischemical disease with various symptom and in severe state. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical compsn. consists of (A) a calcium channel blocker such as Verapamil, Diltiazem, Nifedipine, Nicardipine and (B) an antioxidant such as a compd. expressed by the formula. In the formula, W2 is O, S, NR54 (R54 is H or 1 to 3C alkyl group), n6 is 0 to 2, R7 is H, 1 to 4C alkyl, CO-(1 to 4C)alkyl, CO-ϕ, prodrug (prodrug is PO2 -O<-> , CO-CH2 -CO-NH-CH2 -SO2 - O<-> , CO-CH=CH-CO-O<-> , etc.), R10 to R12 are each H, CH3 , R16 is α-R16-1 : β-R16-2 , (one of R16-1 and R16-2 is H, CH3 , ϕ, etc., and the other is X3 -M (X3 is CO, (CH2 )1-6 , etc.), M is NRARB, etc.), R25 and R26 are each H, and for example, this compd. is 2-[[4-[2,6-bis(1-pyrolidinyl)-4-pyrimidinyl]-1-piperadinyl]-methyl]3,4- dihydro-2,5,7,8-tetramethyl-2H-1-benzopyran-6-ol.
