PURPOSE: To obtain a medical composition, designated to mix a solution composition containing a tricyclo compound useful as an immunosuppressant, etc., in an organic solvent with an oil-in-water type emulsion in use and excellent in preservation stability for a long period and biocompatibility in use.
CONSTITUTION: This medicinal composition is obtained by combining (A) a solution composition in an organic solvent prepared by dissolving a tricyclo compound of the formula [respective pairs of adjacent R1 and R2, R3 and R4 and R5 and R6 denote two adjacent H atoms or may form another bond between bound C atoms; R7 is H, alkyloxy, etc.; R8 and R9 are H or OH; R10 is H, alkenyl, etc.; X is oxo, CH2O, etc.; Y is oxo, N-OR13 (R13 is H or alkyl), etc.; R14 to R19 and R22 are H or alkyl; R20 and R21 are oxo; (n) is 1-3] or its salt in an organic solvent with (B) an oil-in-water type emulsion and designed to mix both the ingredients in use. The ingredient (B) is preferably prepared by using an emulsifying agent such as egg yolk lecithin, an oily ingredient such as soybean oil and water.
