To suppress alignment reduction on a loading part of a medium which has fallen from a pair of supports.SOLUTION: A medium discharge device 40 comprises: a conveyance path TB for conveying a medium P on which recording has been executed by a recording device 10; a discharge part 38 that discharges the medium P conveyed on the conveyance path TB; a pair of supports 60 that support the medium P discharged by the discharge part 38 on support surfaces 60a; and a loading part 33 which is provided below the supports 60 in a gravity direction and on which the medium P having fallen from the supports 60 is placed.
