Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium feeder capable of shifting a printing medium to the same side in a width direction even when the printing medium is fed in a first feeding direction and even when the printing medium is fed in a second feeding direction opposite to the first feeding direction, and further to provide the like.SOLUTION: A medium feeder comprises: a feeding section 43 feeding a roll sheet in a first feeding direction A1 and in a second feeding direction opposite to the first feeding direction A1; an oblique roller 46 being capable of changing an attitude thereof between a first attitude where the attitude of a rotating shaft is oblique with respect to a width direction perpendicular to the first feeding direction A1 and a second attitude where the attitude of the rotating shaft is oblique to an opposite side to the first attitude with respect to the width direction and being driven to rotate by the roll sheet being fed; and an attitude changing section 47 changing the attitude of the oblique roller 46 to the first attitude when the roll sheet is fed in the first feeding direction A1 and changing the attitude of the oblique roller 46 to the second attitude when the roll sheet is fed in the second feeding direction.
