Abstract:
To provide a technique for applying a liquid limited to a necessary range in a medium processing device having a binding processing part capable of press binding by switching a binding posture.SOLUTION: A medium processing device includes: a conveyance part that conveys a medium in a conveyance direction; liquid applying means (31) for applying a liquid by contacting a liquid applying member (44) containing the liquid with at least one medium conveyed from the conveyance part; press means (32) for pinching and binding a plurality of medium to which liquid is applied by the liquid applying means (31) with a pair of binding teeth (32b and 32c); and a rotation mechanism (52) for rotating a pair of binding teeth (32b and 32c) and the liquid applying member (44) around a rotating shaft extending in a thickness direction of the medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
