To provide a medium processing device that changes a posture of a binding processing unit with a small and simple configuration.SOLUTION: A movable wall of a medium processing device: maintains a blocking posture and guides a part to be guided to a second passage when the part to be guided moving from an end side to a center side in a main scanning direction comes into contact with a first passage; is movable to an open position to allow the part to be guided to pass through when the part to be guided moving from the end side to the center side in the main scanning direction comes into contact with the second passage; maintains the blocking posture and guides the part to be guided to the first passage when the part to be guided moving from the center side to the end side in the main scanning direction comes into contact with the second passage; is movable to an open position to allow the part to be guided to pass through when the part to be guided moving from the center side to the end side in the main scanning direction comes into contact with the first passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
