To provide a means that improves spatial utility of space in which a passbook/slip printer is installed, and also shortens a time required for the processing of a medium.
The passbook/slip printer 1 which ejects a medium comprising a passbook and a slip inserted from a medium insertion/ejection port 2 from the medium insertion/ejection port 2 after processing is provided with: a common conveyance path 13 for conveying the medium inserted from the medium insertion/ejection port 2 in a vertical direction; a passbook conveyance path 23 for conveying the passbook delivered from the common conveyance path 13 in a front-and-rear direction along a passbook reference plane 22 performing the positioning of the lower end of the passbook, and provided with a passbook printing part 3; a slip conveyance path 31 arranged below the passbook conveyance path 23, conveying the slip delivered from the common conveyance path 13 in the front-and-rear direction along a slip reference plane 20 performing positioning of the lower end of the slip, and provided with a slip printing part 6; and a butting shutter 16 arranged in the space of the common conveyance path 13 between the passbook conveyance path 23 and the slip conveyance path 31, and closing and opening the common conveyance path 13.
