Abstract:
To allow for both prompt return of a medium and noise reduction.SOLUTION: A banknote processor 1 sets a second shutter 53 in an open state only when there is a deposit reject banknote in a second accumulation space 52 of a second dispensing part 14, and otherwise sets the second shutter 53 in a closed state. This allows the banknote processor 1 to immediately take out the deposit reject banknote from the second accumulation space 52 and as well as to minimize noise as much as possible by closing the second shutter 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
