Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a device from being increased in its height by storing a continuous form medium in such a manner as to be divided into at least two parts in its continuous state in a storing part.
SOLUTION: A hopper 3 is formed in such a manner as to be elongated in the direction of depth of a medium processor 1, and a folded medium which is a continuous form is stored in the hopper 3 in such a manner as to be divided into the first delivered medium 2a and the subsequently delivered medium 2b. A transport path 5 which is connected to the hopper 3 and extended to a stacker 4 toward the downstream side in the medium transport direction is formed in the medium processor 1. Plural pairs of feed rollers 6, 7, 8, 9 for transporting a medium 3 are provided along the transport path 5, and a pair of discharge rollers 10 are provided near the stacker 4. Thus, the number of media 3 to be stored can be increased so as to eliminate the need of increasing the height of the medium processor 1.
